Vesuvius Climb

Walking to Mount Vesuvius today was eye opening. As the breeze filled around, our eyes were drawn towards the glistening peak that loomed above us. We could see it there, calling our name.
The hike started with a steep uphill climb where we had to use teamwork to push all of us to get up together. After a quick break, our spirits rose and we hustled to the top where we looked above the clouds and engaged in conservations with a variety of our peers who we had not had a chance to talk to yet. As we started our trek down, we had to use each other's support as we went through a steep rock trail as our shoes seeped more into the ground during each step; it was like we were snowshoeing.
