Our flights were smooth and uneventful all the way to Rome. After passing through immigration, we were happy to discover that everyone’s luggage safely made it as well!
Next, we found our transportation vans to Casa la Salle. These tired and hungry travelers dropped their bags and we went immediately to our favorite quick food spot in the neighborhood. Everyone could chose from a variety of dishes, such as pizza by the slice, suppli, rice dishes, couscous, roasted chicken, schwarma and falafel and much more.
We brought our food back to the Casa la Salle to eat in the gathering space. After eating and having an orientation meeting about safety guidelines and other logistical information, the students found their rooms. Tomorrow we hit the ground running in Rome!
